UTEP skated by on pure luck against ECU. We got down 17-0 early, fought back to lead 21-17 only to fall behind 31-21 in the 4th. Once again we battled back to tie the game 31-31 on a fg with 5 seconds to go and were happy with forcing overtime. On the ensuing kickoff we got about the luckiest break ever, a user "big hit" forced a fumble which was returned for a TD. Final score 38-31.

After 4 losses in a row Vanderbilt got the ship back on course and knocked off Kentucky to become bowl eligible

UCLA moved over .500 for the first time on the year (5-4/3-2) by whipping Utah in SLC. Starting to think Pac 10 championship game as the Bruins are 4-1 since the "coaching change" and the one loss came by a single point.
